My three-year-old has already worn a path in the backyard chasing this thing around. The surface has just enough grip that it doesn't slip out of little hands, and it's held up to some serious kicking against the fence.

The bright colors are even more vivid in person, and it's held up perfectly through a full afternoon of kickball and catch on the grass. My son keeps grabbing it every time we head outside, which is exactly what I hoped for.
